The Israel-Lebanon talks in Rome ended early. Lebanese presidential sources told Al-Jadeed the U.S. requested the early close for private communications. An Israeli negotiator, said Ambassador Leiter asked the Americans to stop the talks three hours before their scheduled end over repeated leaks from the Lebanese delegation. Both sides expect talks to resume tomorrow.
