Reports are emerging of a significant Houthi assault on the Saudi backed Yemen Emergency Forces encampment near Marib, Yemen with several casualties reported. This video purports to show the aftermath of one of the attacks, though it has not been verified.
Marib is the internationally recognized Yemeni government’s last major stronghold in northern Yemen and is home to critical oil and gas infrastructure. Saudi Arabia has supported government forces there for years to prevent the Houthis from consolidating control over northern Yemen.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has voted along party lines to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress. The measure now advances to the full Senate for consideration.
The vote follows Fauci’s decision last week to invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination during testimony before the committee, declining to answer questions from Chairman Sen. Rand Paul. Fauci argued the hearing was politically motivated and said he was acting on the advice of counsel.
