The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have issued an urgent evacuation warning for residents of the Lebanese village of Mansouri, instructing civilians to move at least 1,000 meters north into open areas.

According to the IDF, the warning was issued in response to what it describes as a Hezbollah ceasefire violation, stating that Israeli forces are “compelled to act forcefully” against the threat.

A senior Italian army officer met with the Lebanese Chief of General Staff in Beirut, and Italy’s Foreign Minister spoke with his Iranian counterpart.

Italy is one of the candidates Israel and Lebanon are weighing to verify Hezbollah has no presence in areas the Lebanese army enters.
