There is a ferry terminal (NY Waterway) right by the Hyatt. You can be in Manhattan in ten minutes. The price however is probably not much less than an NYC hotel. Watch out for travel aggregation websites showing hotels boasting “5 minutes from NYC”. Most are dumps and a five minute commute to New York would only be via helicopter or spaceship.
