Iranian drones struck the personal office of Iraqi Kurdistan Region PM Masrour Barzani early this morning, along with the home of the head of the region’s security and intelligence agency. No casualties were reported. Barzani confirmed the strikes after an investigation by the Kurdistan Region’s counterterrorism unit. Barzani: “I strongly condemn these reckless and unacceptable attacks. This is a dangerous escalation and a direct threat to the security and stability of the Kurdistan region. These attacks will not deter us from fulfilling our duties and protecting our citizens.”
