Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson: There is no “60-day deadline” in the text of the memorandum of understanding, and Iran never formulates policy under pressure, ultimatums, or time limits.
The MoU set a 60-day period for discussions on two issues, lifting sanctions and the nuclear file, extendable if no agreement was reached. Tehran says the U.S. blatantly violated the June 28th memorandum just weeks after signing, so no negotiations began and the deadline lost its relevance.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson: “Until the status of our pilots in Qatar is clarified, we consider them captives.”
He added that Iran has been following the fate of these pilots since March 1 and has corresponded with the Red Cross since March 15.

Hi, I’ll be flying out of Santiago (Chile) with Copa. I’m Star Alliance (United) Gold. I was wondering if there’s a lounge there I can access?
