U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has posted imagery of two U.S. Navy E/A-18G “Growlers”, complete with AN/ALQ-99 (right aircraft) and AN/ALQ-249 (left aircraft) jamming pods and external fuel tanks while on patrol over the Middle East while supporting the U.S. naval blockade of Iran. As of today, U.S. forces have redirected 75 commercial vessels, boarded two to ensure compliance, and disabled three who failed to comply with directives.
