The previous Toyota we purchased (’08 Camry) had a 10/07 manufactured date – and when we purchased it in April ’08, there were ’09 models on the ground. In talking to several dealers in NE FL, seems like the ’18 models are ‘just arriving’. The previous few cars in the family had the ‘new’ model year start in the August/September time frame.
Using a Denoiser, even with a dynamic or condenser microphone, can make a big difference. It can make low-quality recordings sound much better. For top-notch voice recordings, the goal is to keep the noise floor at -60dB or lower. It’s best to keep the peak volume between -12dB to -6dB during recording.
