Outlook 2010 will work on Windows 10 but it is not available for purchase or download from Microsoft – if you don’t have a license, you can try ebay etc. I recommend a modern version – you can usually find a retail version of office 2021 at a special pricing if you don’t want a subscription. On #2 – yeah, new Outlook has a lot of limitations.
You may hold Ctrl to start Outlook client in safe mode and check whether the problem persists, if Outlook search works fine in safe mode, then you can disable add-ins by navigating to File>Options>Add-in>Com-in Add. And you can check whether your Outlook client search indexing is marked, please go to File>Options>Search>Indexing Options.
Problem with Outlook “oft.” Templates: I have a few hundred outlook “oft” templates that are each addressed to specific recipients (in the CC/BCC fields). This week I have had several of these emails go out, but I get delivery receipts that the email went to an employee that was not in the TO/CC/BCC fields.
