Armenia’s Pashinyan: International community should take serious measures to prevent new ‘explosion’ in region


Azerbaijan continues to illegally block the Lachin corridor, and the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh has reached its peak. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.

“It is obvious that with these actions, Azerbaijan demonstrates its intention to launch a new military provocation against Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia. In order to justify such provocation, fake and untrue notions are put into circulation [by Azerbaijan]. I believe the situation is such that the international community, member countries of the UN Security Council should take most serious measures to prevent a new ‘explosion’ in our region,” added the Armenian PM.
