Duncan loves soccer. He’s in his last year of elementary school and wanted to leave a little bit of his passion for the beautiful game with the young kids of his school.
Guinea pig, dog and monkey brains have all been kept alive for hours or even days after being removed. The problem is that, without an attached body, the health of the brain can only be assessed in a fairly basic way. Generally the uptake of oxygen and presence of electrical activity are taken as evidence that the brain is alive.
Then comes the big crunch, the rainy scene where the whole mood completely changes. But still the story-teller keeps his hole card out of sight. When the true nature of what is going on becomes evident, you realize the story is one of the most frightening anyone can imagine, and only then do you really appreciate the quality of the acting.
