Palestinian media: A “special Israeli unit” infiltrated western Gaza City this morning. After it was discovered, the IDF carried out shelling and airstrikes to secure it, killing at least one and wounding others.
The IDF declines to comment. Palestinian media has at times labeled Israeli-backed anti-Hamas militias as “Israeli forces.”
