Until now the IDF insisted the pilot areas be outside its control, while Lebanon insisted both be areas from which the IDF withdraws. The two sides reached a compromise.

The second issue discussed was the implementation start date. Preparations are underway for this to happen within days or hours. An announcement including the date is expected, hopefully before the end of the week.
