30 July 2026: Ukrainian drones struck a Wildberries logistics center near Penza, Russia, this morning igniting a large fire at the facility.
• Per local emergency response reporting, the fire covers an area of 62,000 square meters. More than 100 personnel and 50 pieces of equipment, as well as two trains, are involved in extinguishing operations.
• Penza Region Governor Oleg Melnichenko confirmed the strike: “There is an active fire at the warehouse site, and firefighters are battling the blaze.”
This marks the 13th Wildberries warehouse struck since mid-July, part of an ongoing campaign targeting facilities storing goods for the Russian military.
Wildberries denies the allegation. However, their own catalog carries the material at issue: body armor and tactical helmets bearing “tested in the Special Military Operation” certification, FPV drone components including fiber-optic control reels and release mechanisms, and until recently a dedicated “Everything for the SVO” storefront with over 200,000 listings.
That category was removed after the strikes began, though the same items remain listed under standard categories.
