Following today’s interception and seizure of an Iranian oil tanker in the Southern Caribbean off the coast of Venezuela, traders on Polymarket are already predicting that there is a 22% chance the United States will seize another Venezuela-linked oil tanker before the end of December. Reports earlier from CBS News stated that the Trump Administration was considering similar operations to the one carried out today, in order to place further pressure on Venezuela.
