UN member states approved a forceful resolution urging Russia to return Ukrainian children taken since 2014. The measure passed with 91 votes in favor, calling for the immediate and unconditional return of more than 20,000 minors sent to Russia for indoctrination programs, forced adoptions, and citizenship changes.
Fifty seven countries abstained. Twelve states sided with Moscow and voted against the resolution.
