During an interview tonight by Fox News’ Sean Hannity with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, regarding today’s arrest of a suspect in the placing of pipe bombs outside the Headquarters of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Republican National Committee (RNC) on January 6, 2021; Hannity asked Bongino about conspiracy theories he had previously pushed on social media in reference to the case, suggesting it was an “inside job” potentially by the D.C. Metro Police or FBI.
Bongino responded, “I was paid in the past Sean for my opinions, that’s clear. One day I will be back in that space, but that’s not what I’m paid for now. I’m paid to be your deputy director and we base investigations on facts.”
