NYC Mayor Eric Adams, in his final weeks before Zohran Mamdani takes office, signed two executive orders cracking down on BDS-aligned actions.
One order bars city agencies and pension boards from supporting or implementing any boycott-related policies against Israel. The other instructs the NYPD to propose new guidelines for demonstrations near religious sites after recent protests at an Upper East Side synagogue.
Adams says the measures are aimed at countering antisemitism and safeguarding city resources and worship spaces.
