Arab countries are unwilling to play buffer until a permanent peace, roughly on the basis of the Arab Peace Initiative, has been concluded.

Iran has just been cut off from the Levant by the fall of Assad.
Hezbollah has been largely defanged.
Whatever residual ability it has to tip the scales in the WB, it would lose it even further post-occupation.
