Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu claimed in an interview to Kremlin newswire TASS published on April 24 that the Kremlin is “ready for a ceasefire, a truce, and peace talks” but only if these measures take Russia’s interests into account and eliminate the “initial causes” of the war.
