It is true that the grid will not accept or deliver more power from/to Slovakia or Ukraine than it can safely handle. But cutting the line to UA is a two edged sword. Slovakia was also relying on the import of UA/EU power through that line during normal times when all of UA”s production was functioning and under their control. This is a huge network and once you are connected, nobody cares where the electrons come from and it just becomes a what comes in minus what goes out or what goes out minus what comes in accounting problem.
