@JustmeAnybody: It’s amazing @TimothyDSnyder and others (Condi Rice who wanted to get Ukraine in NATO after Russia invaded Georgia) anticipated not standing up to Putin would lead to further escalation and invasions but @JakeSullivan46 and @CIA William Burns thought placating him would work.
