#OTD in 1984, the groundbreaking ceremony for #CIA’s New Headquarters Building (NHB) took place. A series of recently uncovered photographs documented the event, which featured President Ronald Reagan as chief groundbreaker. Vice President George H.W. Bush and Director of Central Intelligence William Casey also presided over the ceremony. Construction on NHB was completed in 1989.
